methods, which allow to consider and manage the uncertainty
of the input data (such as fuel prices and the variability of demand),
j4energy identifies optimal, reliable, and robust investment strategies
and supports their execution.

J4ENERGY originates from the scientifc research of its founders, conducted since 2013 first at the EPFL in Lausanne and then at Imperial College London, driven by one clear goal: improving decision-making processes in the energy sector.
The story of J4ENERGY begins thanks to an initial group of industrial clients seeking for a reliable and dynamic solution to support the definition of their decarbonization plans, facilitating and improving both speeds and reliability.

Since then, a strong collaboration started which led to the development of the J4ENERGY Platform, the first vertical Energy Strategy platform for the industrial sector to date.
J4ENERGY originates from the real needs of the industrial decision-makers. It is also co-designed and implemented in close collaboration with energy and sustainability managers, to optimally meet their needs and targets.
